About good books

I Apologise I haven\'t posted since a few days in spite of such dazzling smiles I am getting these days. So how are you ppl? I have been delivered a pack of 15 books all about investing a few days ago and since it is seriously bestseller stuff I looking forward to read them. I was ignorant of this field since my brother is an investment banker who knows his job well. Don’t you think this happens with everyone. The first phase of reading about investing books is the hunger that you want to become Warren Buffet. East west north south everyone has the hunch to be Buffet and no one really becomes one that\'s the final truth just like the casino\'s secret is - \'the house always wins\'. 3 out of 15 are books on buffet strategy. I will come back to this again later when I unravel some precious pearls of wisdom. I have read one of them \'the psychology of money by Morgan Housel. This is widely considered the modern \"must-read.\" It’s less about math and more about the human ego, making it feel like a series of fascinating dinner party stories rather than a textbook. I think all these books have a pattern The reading goes like this... around chapter 2 the book will come up with a formula which is a combination of Nasa symbols and explanation of scientific concept by a mad scientist. You stare at it for few minutes, nod sagely, and then quickly turn to the next chapter which has much fewer numbers and much more fluff about creating your portfolio. Then comes the section on frugality. You learn that if you simply stop drinking cold drinks, stop eating out, and stop using electricity more you will save - which means earn. After all the hard work of reading you will infer the underlying gist- Buy low and sell high. All along there\'s a habitual distraction. Every few hours and few hundred pages, I come back to thinking about my favourite actress to check her recent reels/social media posts etc. I have aped the south Indian film devotees and I enjoy being in-sync with the hee hee haa haa of the dimpled celeb. :).
